This year, CAFFA is partnering with Children’s Home & Aid to help children in their foster care program unleash their inner superhero.
We will be assembling DIY superhero-cape-kits for the children. CAFFA will be providing the capes (these capes were a huge hit at the 2016 Walk for Adoption Chicago). We are asking participants to bring at least 3 packages of broad line markers and a plate of your favorite holiday cookies to enjoy during this event. CAFFA will provide the drinks.
Join us on Saturday, December 3rd from 1-4pm at Lutheran Church of Martha and Mary, 606 West Golf Road, Mount Prospect (parking lot is off S. Wa Pella Ave).
This event is free! If you would like to participate please send an email to social_claudia@caffa.org and include your name, number of participants and the quantity of markers you plan to donate.
Can’t attend but want to support us? You can purchase and donate supplies for the event, please contact social_claudia@caffa.org for more information. We are looking for markers and Ziploc bags donations.
