Once upon a time in a land far away known as Suburbia, CAFFA moms or dads and sometimes nannies gathered together to watch their kids play.
Locations were thoughtfully researched based on geographic desirability, enrichment and maximum enjoyment. Snacks were carefully planned in accordance with optimal nutritional value and minimal allergic exposure. These gatherings were called Playgroups and like the dinosaurs, they became extinct. But we still missed them and the friendships they inspired. So we decided to launch a new and improved family social gathering, more current and exciting, and frankly less contrived than the ancient Playgroup.
Join us for CAFFA’S first Family Meetup. We will be gathering at Barnes & Noble on Saturday, December 5 at 2 pm right after Matthew Cordell’s book presentation and signing. We will meet at the cafe while the kids either enjoy the kids book department or join their parents in the cafe.
We look forward to meeting you!
