2019 CAFFA Parenting through Adoption Conference

Hundreds of pre-adoptive and experienced parents from the Chicago area and beyond will attend the conference to learn more about adoption and parenting topics. Attendees will hear from local and national experts in the field of adoption and social work. Additionally, we will have vendors at the event to showcase their products and services. This is THE premier adoption conference in Chicago.

In addition to speakers throughout the day, we are also welcoming Ashley Mitchell as 2019’s Keynote Speaker. Ashley Mitchell, owner of Lifetime Healing, set out to seek increased care, understanding, and resources for birth mothers.  For almost a decade, Ashley has been one of the most consistent and sought after birth mother voices in the nation.  Well known for her vulnerability and transparency in adoption, her story has touched the hearts of countless members of the adoption community and beyond.

As we will be offering sessions for pre-adoptive, post-adoptive, and foster-care families (and more), we will accept up to two proposals per presenter. Conference proposal forms are now online and will need to be submitted by November 15th, 2018.

With over 350+ expected attendees across all types and phases of adoption, the CAFFA Conference is an excellent opportunity to raise awareness and create interest in your organization. Also, any contribution will be appreciated tremendously and would have a direct impact on conference registration fees, making the event more widely accessible.
