Chicago Area Families For Adoption (CAFFA), a 501(c) (3) organization is hosting our 23rd adoption education conference at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois, on Saturday March 4th, 2017. The conference, “Parenting Through Adoption 2017,” will offer workshops for prospective adoptive & foster parents, those already parenting through adoption, and adoption professionals.

About “Parenting Through Adoption 2017”
Hundreds of pre-adoptive and experienced parents from the Chicago area and beyond will attend the conference to learn more about adoption and parenting topics. Attendees will hear from local and national experts in the field of adoption and social work. Additionally, approximately two dozen vendors will be at the event to showcase their products and services. This is THE premier adoption conference in Chicago.
In addition to thirty speakers throughout the day, we are also welcoming Carrie Goldman as 2017’s Keynote Speaker. Carrie is an award-winning author, speaker, and artist. Carrie writes one of the nation’s premier adoption blogs, Portrait of an Adoption, which has followers in more than 45 countries. Her acclaimed children’s book, Jazzy’s Quest: Adopted and Amazing, came out in June of 2015. Her latest book, Jazzy’s Quest: What Matters Most (Volume 2) was just released in November 2016.
